*Safety is our first priority. There are always at least two adults in each kid's classroom and one security guard monitoring the hallway outside. All kids are checked-in and checked-out through our secure registration system.
Monument kids are a key part of the life of our church. We believe that Kids Ministry is more than just childcare - we have a part to play in the next generation by impacting kids with the gospel to help them build their knowledge of the love of God and their identity. Every Sunday our Kids Ministry takes place during our Monument Church service - consider your kids invited!

Meet Jacob and Jessie Lewis who lead our Kids Ministry
We met in college at an Intervarsity Christian Fellowship retreat and got married a couple of years later in 2009. I grew up in Baltimore, while Jacob is originally from Texas. Jacob works as a Science Content Specialist at a middle school, and I am an American Sign Language interpreter. Our household is full of life with our two young boys, Cal and Toby, Jacob’s parents, and five fish.
From the moment we stepped into Kids Ministry, we felt a deep calling to invest in the next generation. Watching children grow in their faith and experience the love of Jesus has been incredibly rewarding. We believe God has placed us in this role not only to teach but to learn—gaining inspiration from their joy and faith. Leading in Kids Ministry has strengthened our own walk with Christ and deepened our passion for discipling families. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me," and we are honored to help create a space where they can know Him and experience His love.
